The Holy Services of Holy Week were conducted in all the Churches in the Congo, with religious piety. In Pointe-Noire, His Grace Panteleimon Bishop of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon, officiated at the Holy Services and preached the homily, when visiting the Parish Communities in the city.
Particular mention is made of the Divine Liturgy on Palm Sunday, at the temporary Holy Cathedral of St Dimitrios, following which the faithful, waving the branches, sang church hymns and religious songs in the local traditional rhythms; also, Holy Wednesday in the Holy Chapel of St Luke, Archbishop of Symferopolis, the Doctor, which is under construction, of the Parish of St Fotini in Mpaka, which is also under construction, as well as the Services of the Holy Passion and the Epitaphios at the Cathedral of St Dimitrios, together with the procession of the Epitaphios around the Cathedral construction site.
Finally, during his visits to the Parishes, the Bishop announced the appointments of the members of the Diocesan Council, according to the new Canons of operation of the Holy Diocese and the Parish Communities.
