BAPTISMS OF THE NEWLY-ENLIGHTENED IN POINTE-NOIRE

On the morning of 24^th December 2016, His Grace Panteleiomon, Bishop of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon performed the baptisms of 52 newly-enlightened indigenous brothers and sisters of all ages, from the Parish Communities of Pointe-Noire, in the outdoor baptismal font at the Holy Church of St Dimitrios which is under construction in the city.

Addressing our newly-enlightened brothers and sisters, His Grace gave paternal advice and counsel for their new spiritual journey, and expressed the joy of the local Church on their induction into it, urging them all to become faithful and pious members of the Church. Note that at all the Parishes of the Holy Diocese baptisms take place on this day.
