On Friday 10th June 2022, His Eminence Panteleimon Metropolitan of Naucratis, officiated during the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Church of St Nicholas in Ibrahimia, the See of the Holy Metropolis of Ibrahimia, on the Feast of St Luke the Doctor, Archbishop of Simferopol.
Before the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Artoklasia Service was sung, as well as the holy memorial service for those who have fallen asleep, which according to the order of our Church is held on Soul Saturday, before the feast of Pentecost.
However, as Friday is the established day of the weekly sabbath holiday in Muslim countries, the memorial service was transferred to one day earlier, in order that the faithfulcould avail themselves of the possibility to go to Church and to pray for the repose of the sould or our departed brothers and sisters.
Thereafter refreshments were served in the adjacent reception hall of the Holy Metropolis.
