On Saturday, 21st May 2016, a three hour meeting of the members of the Diocesan Council of the Holy Diocese of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon took place at the See.
During the Meeting, the President of the Diocesan Council, His Grace Panteleimon, as is set in the constitution in Congo-Brazzaville, presented a written report of all activities for the past year 2015. Also, all the new members of the Church Councils of the Parishes were approved for the period 2016-2018 and all relative documents from the Bishop were signed. In conclusion decisions were unanimously taken on important issues regarding the local Church.
After the end of the meeting His Grace donated a large amount of biscuits and other sweets to Reverend Father Paul Diafouka, Director of the Orthodox Orphanage of “Agios Efstathios” in Dolisie, to give to the children of the institute of the local Church, which has been officially recognised by the state, and deemed as the bet.
