From 23rd to 25th November 2013, His Grace Panteleimon Bishop of Brazzaville and Gabon visited the Christian flock of the Parish Community of the Resurrection of the Lord in Brazzaville. During his stay I the capital His Grace collaborated particularly with the Church Council on issues regarding the organization and systematic fulfillment of the pastoral effort.
On Sunday 24th November 2013 he celebrated the Divine Liturgy and preached the divine word at the Holy Church of the Resurrection of the Lord. Prior to the end of the Eucharistic gathering he gave a gift of a pectoral cross to the Reverend Protopresbyter Bernard Diafouka, on the occasion of his 20th anniversary of ministry. Also, His Excellency Mr. Seraphim Bhalat, Counselor to the President of the Republic of Congo and Chairman of the Church Council, address His Grace, expressing the joy of the faithful on the ongoing progress in all fields of the local Church. A private meeting with the youth was held as well as a festive gathering of the faithful.
