SUNDAY OF THE VENERATION OF THE CROSS IN THE CONGO CAPITAL

The Sunday of the Veneration of the Cross was celebrated with splendor in the Holy Diocese of Brazzaville and Gabon, at the Holy Parish Church of the Resurrection of the Lord in the capital f the Congo. His Grace Bishop Panteleimon conducted the Divine Liturgy, preached the homily and did the procession of the Precious Cross.

A wonderful gathering of the faithful followed, during which His Grace spoke about the importance of fasting and spiritual reflection during Great and Holy Lent.  A meeting of the Parish Council then followed, where the immediate repair and painting of the outside of the Church was decided on, after which His Grace returned by air to Pointe-Noire, the See of the Holy Diocese.
