On the 3rd Sunday of Lent (Veneration of the Cross), March 19, 2023, a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was held in the most beautiful Holy Cathedral of the Annunciation of the Theotokos in Alexandria, officiated by the His Eminence Panteleimon Metropolitan of Naucratis.
Before the dismissal of the Eucharistic Gathering, the procession of the Holy Cross took place inside the Church, by the Very Reverend Archimandrite Chrysanthos Tsahakis from the Holy Monastery of Gonia, Kolymbari, Crete, who is visiting the Great City on a pilgrimage.
