SYNAXIS OF THE CLERGY OF THE HOLY DIOCESE OF BRAZZAVILLE

On Thursday 24th October 2013, a synaxis of all the Parish Priests of the Holy Diocese of Brazzaville and Gabon took place at the Diocese in Pointe-Noire, at which issues regarding the organization and coordination of parish pastoral work were discussed.

Most particularly decisions were taken regarding the reorganization of the Catechetical Schools at all levels, the establishment of Bible Study Groups for adults, pastoral guidance of catechumens, those preparing for marriage, the sick, the imprisoned, as well as those living alone or have been neglected. Administrative and other issues were also discussed.

At noon His Grace hosted a lunch at the Diocese in honour of the clergy, to whom he passed on the paternal blessings and prayers of His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, and he then gave them a Bible in French and a small commemorative gift.
