THE BISHOP MEETS WITH THE GOVERNOR OF POINTE-NOIRE

On 27^th September 2016, His Grace Panteleimon Bishop of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon met with His Excellency the Governor of Pointe-Noire, Mr. Alexandre Honoré M’Paka.

During the meeting current service issues were discussed. His Grace also expressed the gratitude of the local Church to the Governor for the excellent cooperation with both himself and the state authorities whom he represents in the administrative district of Pointe-Noire.

The Governor thanked the Bishop for the social efforts being made and the dynamic presence of the Orthodox Church in the Congo, adding that the state authorities will always support its efforts.

In conclusion His Grace Bishop Pateleimon gave His Excellency Mr. Alexandre Honoré M’Paka an icon of St Alexander, Archbishop of Constantinople.
