THE FUNERAL SERVICE OF THE LATE PROTOPRESBYTER BERNARD DIAFOUKA

On Holy Tuesday, 7th April 2015, the Funeral Service of the late Parish Priest Protopresbyter Bernard Diafouka was conducted in an emotional atmosphere at the Holy Parish Church of the Resurrection of the Lord in Brazzaville, by His Grace Panteleimon and with participation of all the clergy of the local Church.

Present also were His Eminence Anatolios of the Roman Catholic Church, representatives of other Christian Communities of the country, state officials and many faithful.

The deceased was addressed in speeches by the Honorable Chairman of the Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord Mr. Seraphim Bhalat, the Chairman of the Brazzaville Council of Churches of which the late Fr Bernard had served as Chairman, the Hierarchal Vicar General of the Holy Diocese Fr. Maxiomos Oumba and His Grace Panteleimon.
