THE METROPOLITAN OF NAUCRATIS AT THE HOLY METROPOLIS OF PRIGKIPONISOS

On June 14, 2023, His Eminence Panteleimon, Metropolitan of Naucratis and Chief Secretary of the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Patriarchate of Alexandria, being in Constantinople, visited the seat of the Holy Metropolis of Prigkiponisos, on Prince Island, following a fraternal and highly honorable invitation of its Hierarch Elder Metropolitan Dimitrios of Prigkiponisos.

Elder Metropolitan Dimitrios , one of the most prominent Hierarchs of the Ecumenical Throne, graciously welcomed His Eminence the Metropolitan of Naucratis at the Metropolitan House of Prince Island. This was followed by a pilgrimage to the Holy Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos, as well as to the beautiful Holy Metropolitan Church of St Dimitrios, while the visit concluded with a meal, hosted by His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Dimitrios of Prigkiponisos in honour of His Eminence of Naucratis, in an idyllically beautiful area of the island, overlooking the sea of Marmara.
