On 24th March 2017, His Eminence Panteleimon, Metropolitan Archbishop of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon, conducted the Service of the Akathist Hymn in the Cathedral of St Dimitrios, Pointe Noire, where he also spoke about the Most Venerable Figure of the Mother of God as an example of sanctifying love and maternal affection.
